Caramel Apple Sangria

I wanted to create a tasty holiday drink that I could bring to many different of my upcoming holiday parties.

I cam up with this drink first during halloween party prep and try as I may but I really didn’t find anything that I thought would suit me or my guest. So I decided to make my own! I came up with a sangria and I feel like everyone loves a good sangria.

Sangrias look great at parties! Due to the fruit and fancy ways you can cut them, decorate the bowl with them, and add new flavors. The varieties are endless.

It is perfection! Apples are abundant during the holiday season and the idea of caramel apple is appealing and warming.

Ingredients

Instructions
  1. In a medium pot bring the apple juice, all spice, brown sugar, and cinnamon sticks to a boil then simmer for 30 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Let cool
  2. While letting the apple juice and slices simmer In a large punch bowl add cold caramel vodka, apple slices, and cooled apple juice with spices (If adding crown royal apple add now.).
  3. Top with champagne right before serving.
  4. Garnish! Now this a really important step to me. Adding spiral orange peels. I have the link where I learned to do this below. Add to the edge of the glass, place a few in the punch before serving, and/ or place them on the outside around the brim of the bowl.
