If you are still drinking soda and juice everyday stop it!… I have 2 more infused waters that have been tested and approved! Each recipe is good for 32- 48oz. The same fruit and herbs can be reused 2-3 times over the course of, at most, 2 days. I would eat the fruit after if it’s not too mushy.
- 1/2 cup Diced Mango
- 1 tablespoon (roughly) about 1 inch of fresh Ginger Root
The Mango Ginger water aids in digestion and helps speed up the metabolism so drink this one often if you are trying to control your weight. If you are craving something sweet drink this! Try to always have something healthy for when your sweet tooth strikes. I drank the whole 16 oz. bottle and could not wait to get to my other one.
Watermelon Lemon Basil
- 1 c. watermelon
- 3 lemon slices
- 10 basil leaves
So not only is basil highly fragrant herb that does wonderful things for food and drinks. It also has so much vitamin k I didn’t believe it at first a 0.5 cup of basil leaves contains 98% of the recommended daily value of Vitamin K. Vitamin K has a ton of benefits but a favorite of mine is that it promotes strong bones…. Much needed stuff.
Surprisingly consuming watermelon is known to reduce muscle soreness. So I feel like that’s an explanation to why I literally always crave watermelon after a hard workout…… and french fries but I always want those anyways. 😆😆
