So you already have your super foods maca root and cacao powder in this smoothie! But you can top it with more superfoods like chia seeds, add some color and fiber by adding blueberries, and for extra protein/ healthy fat add sliced almonds.

Both chia seeds and oatmeal help keep you full with loads of fiber. The natural sugar in the blueberry and banana will give you energy through the day when you need some extra motivation and lasting energy too! Because there is so much fiber in this smoothie bowl it creates a slow release of energy not a rush like a juice will give you…. or at least they do for me.

Definitely something I will make ahead as an option for when I need to be out the door in 10 minutes!
